Ukrainian athlete Andriy Mandzi won a bronze medal at the second stage of the nations luge Cup in Austria. The Ukrainian lost to German David Nossler and Slovak Josef Ninis, 0.299 seconds behind the winner.

Ukrainian athlete Andriy Mandzi won a bronze medal at the second stage of the nations luge Cup, held in Innsbruck, Austria. This result was the first medal of Ukraine in the new luge season. This is reported by the Ministry of youth and Sports, reports UNN.

In the men's single sleigh competition, Andrey Mandzy finished third, losing 0.299 seconds to the winner, German David Nossler. Nossler took first place with a time of 50.894 seconds. The second was Slovak Josef Nini, who was ahead of the Ukrainian. 

This medal confirms the high level of Ukrainian athletes in international luge competitions. Mandzia's performance was a good start for the Ukrainian national team.
