Harvesting in southern Ukraine is proceeding as planned, despite Russian attempts to organize provocations in the form of grain burning.
Taras Vysotsky, acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
We see evidence of provocation from the aggressor country, including in terms of potential destruction of crops and setting fire to grain fields
According to him, the State Emergency Service, together with agricultural producers, uses all necessary means to prevent or stop such provocations in a timely manner.
As of today, there are no significant losses in this area, and about 98.9% of the harvest in the South is being carried out in accordance with the terms and requirements
