In Novhorod-Siversky district of Chernihiv region, 2 people were killed and 2 injured when a tree fell on a car traveling on the road between villages. Police have launched an investigation, reports UNN with reference to the Chernihiv Oblast Police.
At around 2 p.m., police received a report that a tree had fallen on a car with people on the road between villages in Novhorod-Siverskyi district. As a result, two passengers of the car were killed and two other people were injured
According to the investigation, on April 3, a tree fell on a car with five people, including a minor child.
So far, it is known that two adult passengers (a man and a woman) died. Their 10-year-old child is alive and well. The driver and another passenger were hospitalized with injuries.
The investigative team of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district police department and medical personnel continue to work.
