Earthquake with magnitude 6.9 registered off the coast of of the Philippines. This is reported by Reuters with reference to the German Research Center for Geosciences, UNN reports.

According to the center, the epicenter of the tremors was located 44 km east of the city of Tago with a population of about 6.3 thousand people. The source was located at a depth of 31 km.
There was no information on casualties or damage. No tsunami threat was announced.

On December 2, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines. After it, a tsunami threat was announced in the southeast of the country, as well as in Japan . In addition, seismologists registered at least 14 aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 3.0 to 5.6.
