In the center of Odesa, a fire broke out in a three-story residential building with an area of 500 square meters. Three firefighters were injured while extinguishing the fire, which was extinguished in two hours. This was reported on Tuesday by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The flames spread rapidly through the building's structures, making it difficult for rescuers to fight the fire. As indicated, it took two hours for the rescuers to completely eliminate the fire. To extinguish the fire, 16 units of special and auxiliary equipment and 55 rescuers and volunteers were engaged.
The cause of the fire will be established by the relevant authorities.
