On the evening of April 22, a grenade exploded in the yard of a high-rise building in the Namiv neighborhood in Mykolaiv, injuring a man. UNN reports this with reference to the Main Department of the Mykolaiv Oblast Police.

Arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers found that a 34-year-old local resident was holding an unknown object, after which an explosion occurred.
An ambulance took the victim with multiple shrapnel wounds from the scene.
Explosive experts seized and sent fragments of shrapnel, presumably from a grenade, for appropriate examination.
The police are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as where the man got the explosive device, and are providing legal classification of the incident.
