On August 3, the police received a report that a man had been injured in the entrance of a high-rise building on Soborna Street in Rivne.
It has been preliminarily established that a conflict arose between a 16-year-old resident of the regional center and a 27-year-old resident of Rivne, during which the minor stabbed the victim several times. Despite urgent medical care and resuscitation, the victim's life could not be saved.
The police detained the 16-year-old suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. A preliminary examination showed that the suspect was sober, but additional measures are planned.
The police continue to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
