He clarified that the enemy deliberately sent some of the drones around midnight to residential areas of Odesa's sleeping districts and suburbs, where people were gathering in their homes to celebrate the New Year with their families.
At least 3 high-rise apartment buildings, 3 private houses, and outbuildings were damaged as a result of the downed UAVs. A 15-year-old teenager was killed in the attack. Three people with injuries and burns were hospitalized, four others received medical care on the spot and continue to be treated on an outpatient basis
A fire broke out in one of the port terminals as a result of the hit, which was quickly extinguished. No people were injured.
"Law enforcement agencies are recording the consequences of another crime of the occupiers.
