In Lviv, fare payment by bank cards has been restored, but the mobile Internet service is still weak, the Lviv City Council reported, UNN reports.
Details
"Despite the restoration of Kyivstar's connection, the mobile Internet service in Lviv is still weak. The speed of the Internet connection is less than that required for the prompt establishment of the automated fare payment system," the Lviv City Council reported.
It is noted that in order to resume payment by bank cards, it is necessary to reboot the system of validators and collect all the accumulated information about payments made in the previous days. After that, passengers' bank cards will be charged for previous trips, and validators will be able to accept bank cards. However, this process depends on the speed of the Internet connection, so it will take some time.
Currently, passengers can use LeoCard transport cards for cashless payments, and in electric vehicles, they can also use a QR code.
We remind you that
More than 95% of Kyivstar's mobile base stations on the territory controlled by Ukraine are in working order.
