Ukraine has entered a period of relative energy balance. The next three months may pass with minimal restrictions or no power outages at all, Yuriy Boyko, the Prime Minister's Advisor on Energy, predicted on KYIV24, UNN reports.
"We have now entered a period when the electricity generated in the system has increased, the temperature has dropped, and consumption has decreased accordingly. Unfortunately, we are weather-dependent, but today, thanks to the weather, we are in a relative balance. If there are no external influences, I think that we are in this, let's say, relative balance - what does this mean: it means that, in principle, if any restrictions are imposed these days, they will be insignificant - we should survive for at least the next three months
When asked whether this meant that the next three months could be with minimal restrictions or no outages at all, Boyko said: "That's right.
