Venislavskyi said that the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence has drafted a bill concerning military service and mobilization issues.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee is working on a draft law that addresses the issues of military service, including the issue of serving summonses and how it will be done. This was announced by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedir Venislavsky at a briefing, UNN reports .

Details

Venislavsky said that the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence has developed a bill on military service and mobilization issues.

According to him, the future draft law will clearly define the grounds on which persons liable for military service will have the opportunity for a postponement during mobilization.

It is also planned to improve the issue of serving calls for military service.

"The question of whether the functioning of the electronic register of persons liable for military service will be improved, etc. has also been resolved," Venislavsky added.

In addition, Venislavsky added that the issue of how the summonses will be issued is currently being resolved.

"It can be by e-mail, it can be against receipt, by registered mail. That is, there are various mechanisms that are proposed to be improved in order not to narrow everything down to personal delivery of a summons against a receipt," Venislavsky said.

The draft law also plans to provide for the possibility of granting up to 12 months of leave for servicemen who have been wounded.

As a reminder

In March, Venislavsky reportedthat the Verkhovna Rada committee is considering the possibility of delivering mobilization calls via messengers.
