In 2023, the U.S. agreed with 53 countries on a Political Declaration on the Responsible Military Use of Artificial Intelligence.  Several notable countries did not join in. Among those who have ignored are indicated: China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Israel, and India.  As for those countries that supported the declaration, it is said that 42 countries will attend the conference in the coming week.

The U.S. aims to discuss the practical application and responsible use of AI in warfare and international security.
