According to the representatives of the charitable foundation, the winners of the "Do Your Own" business idea competition, having received a grant, not only not only provide for themselves and develop the community, but also bring the Victory closer.

For example, an embroiderer with 20 years of experience Tetyana Panasenko from Vinnytsia uses a new embroidery machine to create unique costumes that promote Ukrainian culture. And Kateryna Kokot, who left Irpin for Myronivka because of the war, creates not only custom-made models but also sews adaptive clothing for the military in her renovated KaTur clothing workshop . clothing for the military.

At the end of May, the organizers of the of business ideas for entrepreneurs in small towns and villages "Do Your Own" announced the the winners of the 2023 edition. This year, the MHP-Community Foundation, which organized the competition, supported 80 business projects  for a total of over UAH 7.4 million.

A total of 615 applications were received from small entrepreneurs from all over the country. In particular, most business ideas were submitted in Kyiv (22%), Cherkasy (12%), Dnipro (11%), Vinnytsia (9%), and Lviv (9%) regions. regions.

The main criteria for selecting the winners were innovation of projects, economic component, creation of new jobs, social significance, and involvement of IDPs in business or work. Grant support was provided to support was provided to both existing businesses that are expanding or relocating, as well as entrepreneurs who have a business idea and are just looking for funding for its realization.
