Ukrainian polar explorers have shown how Adélie penguins "drive" on the Antarctic slopes. The video was published by the National Antarctic Research Center, UNN reports .

This way of moving is common for penguins on land. Here, they actively save energy, so they move slowly and slowly. When the terrain allows for a "ride," they lie down on their tummies, push off with their wings and hind legs, and run :) They can accelerate up to 3-6 km/h
