Ukrainian oil producers can join the Defense Ministry's tenders at any time. They are ready to supply it to the Ukrainian army in sufficient quantities and at a normal price, without intermediaries. This was announced by Stepan Kapshuk, Director General of the Ukroliyaprom Association, in an exclusive commentary to UNN.

According to him, the Defense Ministry has already contacted manufacturers on this issue.
"The Ministry conducted an online survey, our manufacturers - large enterprises - filled out questionnaires. Now we are waiting, because everyone asks me how much oil is needed. We are ready, because there are no questions about oil - in any region we have a dozen large companies that can supply it. And our price is adequate. Of course, producers without intermediaries are always better. This is a normal price, without any extra charges. The only thing we need is an understanding of how to supply this oil and where to store it. But I think this mechanism will be worked out. As for prices, the AMCU prohibits us from engaging in pricing policy. I mean that the producer's price is normal and without any extra charges," said Stepan Kapshuk.
The Director General of the Association also noted that Ukraine produces enough oil, and therefore there will be no problems with supplying the Ukrainian army.
"In general, our industry is export-oriented, we consume only 5% of oil. There is a lot of oil, you don't have to look for it somewhere, it is available today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. We produce 20 thousand tons of oil a day. The monthly consumption of packaged oil is 25 thousand tons. Therefore, there are no problems with oil, so we will connect without any problems," Kapshuk summarized.

Recently, Arsen Zhumadilov, Director General of the State Logistics Operator of Ukraine, announced a new defense procurement strategy that aims to ensure maximum participation of national food producers in tenders.
"We are building all our procurement strategies in such a way as to enable direct participation of producers in our tenders. That is, to work not through intermediaries, but with those who directly produce certain products. If these are residents of Ukraine, i.e. our domestic national producers, then we are talking about them. If something is not produced in Ukraine, in principle, or is not produced in sufficient quantities, and we work with foreign producers, we will make efforts to enter into contractual relations with them directly," Zhumadilov said .
Ukrainian bakers are ready to participate in the Defense Ministry's tenders, and support the idea to exclude intermediaries from the procurement process.
