This year, UAH 5 billion will be spent from the state budget on “Winter Support” for Ukrainians, and UAH 10 billion next year.
This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak with reference to the document on amendments to the government's resolution No. 952, UNN reports.
The missile threat did not prevent the Ministry of Economy from adopting the absolutely idiotic idea of a 1000 UAH. As I wrote, this year it will take 5 billion. Next year, it will be 10 billion. In both cases, this is not the money of partners, but of the Unemployment Fund
He also noted that this year funds for this purpose were taken away from the demining program. MP Oleksiy Honcharenko noted that Zelensky's “thousand” is now called “Winter Support”.
Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the implementation of the plan. UAH 5 billion will be spent on Winter Support. The money will be transferred from the program that finances cashback to a program that will give out thousands of hryvnias each
Honcharenko noted that people will be able to receive a thousand UAH either in electronic format or by Ukrposhta: for those citizens who are in the territory of active hostilities.
AddendumAddendum
On October 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to introduce a new support program for Ukrainians starting December 1, under which they will be able to receive one thousand hryvnias per family member.
First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Sobolev said that Ukrainians will receive UAH 1,000 per person, regardless of age or social status.
These funds can be used during the winter months of December, January and February. However, this program has provoked a mixed reaction in society and questions about whether it is appropriate to provide a payment of UAH 1,000 to wealthy, financially secure Ukrainians.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been approached with petitions to abandon the implementation of the new eSupport program and to provide UAH 1,000 per person. In particular, people are asking that these funds be used for weapons production and to finance rehabilitation programs for war veterans.
One of the petitions also states that low-income people may not have a smartphone to receive payments through Diia.
The Ministry of Economy reported to UNN that a mechanism is being developed to receive eSupport funds, namely 1 thousand per Ukrainian, through Ukrposhta offices - for the convenience of those citizens who do not have smartphones and access to Diia.
On November 15, the government approved the Winter eSupport program initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, under which after December 1, every Ukrainian will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnias.
