In the Kharkiv region, a car hit a two-year-old girl, she was taken to the hospital but could not be saved, UNN reports, citing the police of the Kharkiv region.

The police received a report of the accident on November 12 at about 13:25. The Renault Trafic was parked in a parking lot and was dropping off passengers.
After that, the driver got behind the wheel and started driving straight ahead. At that moment, the girl ran in the direction of the minibus and was hit by a wheel. The child was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but they could not save her life.

Investigators opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
