After this year's transition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to the New Julian calendar, Ukrainians officially got the opportunity to celebrate Christmas together with the majority of the of the Christian world.

It is strictly prohibited on Christmas Day:
