Pixar's animated film “Inside Out 2” has grossed $1.468 billion, surpassing “Cold Heart 2.” The movie earned $601 million in the U.S. and $861 million internationally.

Collecting $1.468 billion since its release in theaters, Inside Out 2 (Thinking Inside Out 2) surpassed the total gross of Frozen 2 (Cold Hearted 2)  - 1,454 received in 2019 - thus becoming the most successful animated film of all time in the world.

Pixar's animated film “Inside Out 2” (“Thoughts Inside Out 2” in the Ukrainian version), which tells about the life of emotions personified in the mind of a teenage girl, became the most profitable animated film in history

After six weeks of release, the animated film earned $601 million domestically in the U.S. and $861 million internationally. Global revenue totaled a staggering $1.46 billion. It was surpassed by the financial success of Cold Heart 2, which grossed a whopping $1.45 billion during its 2019 release.

In addition, “Inside Out 2” also pushed back Denis Villeneuve's “Dune 2”, which has so far dominated the worldwide box office with 711 million dollars (about 656 million euros).

“Thinking Inside Out 2” achieved success in theaters thanks to several factors. Among them: the good reputation of the original 2015 film, star word of mouth and the appeal of the four sectors, specifies Variety.
