President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez security issues and Ukraine's progress in completing the implementation of the European Commission's recommendations, UNN reports.
Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram that he had held a a telephone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, congratulated him on his on his re-election as head of government.
I am glad to continue our friendly and constructive dialog. We discussed also discussed security issues and Ukraine's progress in completing the implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission of the European Commission on the eve of the European Council meeting. We hope that Spain's presidency of the EU Council will end with a historic decision to the opening of Ukraine's negotiations on accession to the EU
