The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation has launched a new course called Psychodia as part of its psychological project. It is aimed at those who want to master the skills of psychological self-help, UNN reports.
The video lectures within the course, conducted by psychologist Yana Kobets, are released once a week. Two lessons are currently available for viewing: "What is fear and how to deal with it" and "How to help yourself during a panic attack".
"During the war, we all experience strong negative emotions that have a devastating effect on us. Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to consult a qualified specialist to minimize the harmful effects of such emotional states. It is to help such people that we have created the practical course "Psychodia", which will help everyone to master the skills of psychological self-help," said Natalia Prykhodko, a volunteer of the Foundation.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our Foundation has been providing people with not only physical and material, but also psycho-emotional assistance. Our psychological project "Support", of which the course "Psychodia" is a part, has been actively developing for three years. Together with the Foundation's team, I am deeply convinced of the need for psychological assistance to Ukrainians, and we will continue to work in this direction," said Vadym Stolar, the Foundation's founder.
In addition to the Psychodia course, the Support project includes a number of other initiatives, all of which are free of charge for Ukrainians. "Resilience" is for people who are waiting for a protector, "The Course on Children" is for mothers, as well as individual and group counseling and video advice from psychologists.
