As a result of the russian strike on the capital's Okhmatdyt, the hospital's toxicology and trauma departments, as well as part of the country's only oncohematology laboratory, were completely destroyed. In total, 24 departments were damaged. This was stated by the Director General of Okhmatdyt Volodymyr Zhovnir during a meeting of the UN Security Council, UNN reports.

He added that the hospital had suspended medical care in the toxicology department.
He also noted that the strike on Okhmatdyt will have long-term consequences, as patients will lack medical care and specialized services, as the high-tech equipment will not be restored quickly.
