First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said that Ukraine plans to return 80% of potentially mined areas to use within 10 years. To this end, it is planned to stimulate the development of machinery and equipment production in Ukraine.
The teams of innovators presented their developments to the experts in the areas of demining equipment, integrated solutions, IT solutions, and surveys. Teams whose projects are recognized by experts as the most promising will be offered a four-month acceleration program. Next spring, it is planned to test ready-made or improved products at testing grounds and in real conditions.
The Ministry of Economy reminds that program participants will be able to draw up an individual roadmap with mentors and experts, receive support in developing a business model and a business development plan from an idea or prototype to a certified product or technology.
As a reminder,
between November 27 and December 3, the demining units of the State Special Transport Service found, removed and neutralized 828 explosive items.
