From the beginning of April 2024, the cost of issuing a foreign passport in Ukraine will increase. This is reported by the State Migration Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Starting from April 1, 2024, the State Enterprise "Printing Plant "Ukraine" will introduce changes in the cost of passport forms for Ukrainian citizens traveling abroad. These changes will increase the total cost of issuing this document.
The cost of passport forms will increase both for passports issued within 7 business days and for those issued within 20 business days. Thus, the cost of a passport for traveling abroad within 7 business days will increase from UAH 1496 to UAH 1598, taking into account the increase in the cost of the form. As for the cost of a passport that takes 20 days to issue, it is currently UAH 856. However, after the changes, the cost will be UAH 958, while the cost of administrative services will remain unchanged, but the cost of the form will increase to UAH 606.

Citizens who have already paid for administrative services and applied for a passport before March 31, 2024, will receive documents at the old prices. However, those who have paid for administrative services by the end of March but have not yet applied for a passport will be able to pay extra at the new rates at the time of application.
