The American officials have already met with Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Speaker of the Parliament.

I met with a delegation from the U.S. House of Representatives led by Rob Wittman, Vice Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, and including David Trona. This is the fourth high-level U.S. delegation that I have the honor to host in the Ukrainian Parliament over the past two weeks
During the meeting, he thanked American politicians for all the assistance provided - defense, financial, humanitarian, and political.

He also emphasized the importance of bipartisan and bicameral support from the US Congress.
We discussed the security situation. He noted that it is critically important for us to lift all restrictions on the use of our partners' weapons and to be able to defend ourselves, in particular by striking at Russian military facilities
According to him, in order to protect people and infrastructure, Ukraine needs increased military support. Among other needs, Stefanchuk pointed to additional air defense systems, artillery, and combat aircraft.
Training of the Ukrainian military is also important to us, and we discussed this. We also touched upon the issue of increasing sanctions pressure on Russia. Special attention to the implementation of reforms in Ukraine
