The Ministry of Defense plans to set up a round-the-clock hotline to provide advice to servicemen and their families at the short number 1512.

The Ministry of Defense plans to set up a round-the-clock hotline to provide counseling to military personnel and their families. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the defense ministry.

Details

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova and Director of the Government Contact Center Marianna Vilshynska signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. It provides for the organization of joint work on the functioning of the hotline 1512.

Kalmykova emphasized that the ministry's priority is to create an effective feedback system.

Together with the Ministry of Defense's institutional development team, we analyzed the process and found the most optimal model for solving the problem, which will allow us to launch the hotline. It is very important that a serviceman or his family members can report a problem at any time

According to her, questions may relate to financial or material support, restriction of legal rights, or any conflict situation.

The Ministry emphasizes that the service will be fully operational in early January 2024. In addition, the Ministry of Defense's hotline will operate at the same time - 0 800 50 04 42.
