Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, an average of 360-400 settlements in Ukraine have been without electricity due to the fighting.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, an average of 360-400  settlements in Ukraine have been without electricity due to the fighting. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Hrynchuk during a telethon, UNN reports.

Since the full-scale invasion, we have been without electricity in an average of 360-400  settlements because of the hostilities. So they have been either with limited or no electricity for almost the entire period

- Hrynchuk said.

In addition, Hrynchuk reported on the situation in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.

If we talk about hourly blackout schedules in Kharkiv, when we had the attack on March 22, 700,000 consumers were left without electricity, then hourly blackout schedules were applied to 200,000 consumers, and now this number is much smaller, and the schedules themselves are also much shorter. But we continue to introduce them there, because the generation was significantly damaged in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region

- Hrynchuk said.

According to her, there are also problems with the transmission system operator's equipment and substations.

"It is not possible to restore as quickly as we would like, because Kharkiv is under attack almost every day, and every day we have some kind of damage to energy facilities

- Hrynchuk said.

In addition, she noted that short-term blackout schedules were also applied in several regions that night.

Last night, one of the transmission system operator's facilities, one of the substations in Odesa region, was attacked. We continue to assess the damage and plan to restore this particular substation. We are continuing to repair the damage caused by the Russians over the past two weeks, trying to keep the system balanced and working to ensure that as few consumers as possible are subject to hourly outage schedules, especially in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region

- Hrynchuk said.
