SBI exposes head of Zaporizhzhia CCC who illegally exempted men from mobilization

In Zaporizhzhia, the SBI uncovered a scheme whereby the head of a recruiting station and his accomplices allowed more than 300 men to evade mobilization with forged medical documents, charging 2-3 thousand dollars per person.

A scheme to evade mobilization, organized by the head of one of the district territorial recruitment centers, was exposed in Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation, UNN reports.

The head of one of Zaporizhzhia's district CCCs and three of his subordinates provided a full "service package" to conscripts for exemption from military service.

The evaders were registered in the same district of the city where the recruitment center was located, then they were registered and provided with falsified medical documents for the purpose of undergoing a medical examination and subsequent exemption from military service.

According to operational data, more than 300 people evaded mobilization in this way between 2022 and 2023. The estimated cost of the "service" of the dealers was 2-3 thousand US dollars per person.
