In the occupied territories, yields have decreased due to the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. Russians are forcing farmers to sell grain at a fixed price and penalizing them for poor performance by reducing the purchase price.

This year, the occupied territories have seen a drop in yields due to a lack of water as a result of the Russians' blowing up the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam. However, this does not stop the Russians from the idea of fining farmers for lower yields. This was stated by the Center of National Resistance of Ukraine, UNN reports.

This year, the temporarily occupied territories have seen a decline in yields due to a lack of water as a result of the Russians' blowing up the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam. However, this does not stop the enemy from the idea of penalizing farmers for lower yields. We are talking about sanctions in the form of a reduction in the purchase price of the crop

 , the statement said.

It is noted that in the TOT, the occupiers force  all farmers to sell grain to a "state operator" at a fixed price, which then resells it at market prices and the difference ends up in the hands of the occupiers.

However, if yields are low, the selling price of grain for the farmer may decrease further. This is the mechanism of control of the industry by the occupation administration

- informs the Resistance Center.

Addendum

In May, the Resistance Center reported that farmers in the occupied territories of Kherson region must pay collaborators 10-15% of their earnings to sell their crops.
