Russian troops fired 11 times at the border of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons over the past day, including dropping explosives from a drone, causing 59 explosions, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Monday, UNN reports.

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons in 11 cases. 59 explosions were recorded," the SBGS unit said in a Facebook post.
As indicated, hostile attacks were recorded:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: 9 explosions (probably from rocket artillery and 120-mm mortars) in the direction of Hremyach village.
- Semenivka community: 40 explosions (allegedly from 120-mm mortars and cannon artillery) in the direction of Karpovychi, Leonivka, Prohres, Lubyane and Zarichchya.
- Snovska community: 10 explosions (2 arrivals, probably explosive devices dropped from an enemy UAV, 8 arrivals from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Yeline settlement.
There is no information on deaths and injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
