A rocket attack by Russian troops on a residential area of Odesa killed 8 people, wounded 18, including a child, the head of Odesa RMA Oleg Kiper said on Monday, UNN reports.

"Preliminary, there are 8 dead and 18 wounded as a result of the Russian attack. There is one child among the victims. Four people are in serious condition," Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa RMA, wrote in Telegram.
"The enemy insidiously aimed a missile at a residential area, a business district. We already know about 8 dead, people were just going about their business. The injured are being provided with the necessary medical care," Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov said on Telegram.
