A 15-year-old boy who was injured during a Russian strike on a children's cafe in Zaorizka region died in intensive care. This was reported to Suspilne by the head of the village of Malokaterinovka Lyudmila Volyk, reports UNN.
The information about the teenager's death was confirmed by the Prosecutor General's Office, and an investigation was launched.
“...a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Office said.

According to the investigation, on August 20, at about 17:40, Russian troops shelled a suburb of Zaporizhzhia.
An 18-year-old girl and four children aged 11, 14, 15, and 17 were wounded as a result of an enemy shell hitting a recreation facility located near the playground in Malokaterinivka village, Zaporizhzhia district. The 15-year-old boy died during resuscitation.

“Another crime of Russia beyond humanity. We will not stop until the perpetrators of this criminal aggression are brought to justice,” emphasized Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin.
