In occupied Kerch, security forces detained a man who allegedly ate a ballot during the illegal presidential election in Russia. This was stated by the head of the "election committee of the Russian Federation" in Crimea Mikhail Malyshev, UNN reports with reference to Krym.Realii.
According to media reports, the incident occurred on March 17.
"The law enforcement agencies will assess the actions of the young man who first tried to put a ballot or some other paper into the ballot box, and then not only tore up the spoiled ballot, but also ate it. The guy was detained, and an investigation was launched," Malyshev said.
According to him, the man also drew "certain signs" on the ballot. Mr. Malyshev did not specify what exactly they were.
