During this conversation, the President of Ukraine thanked for the congratulations and constant support from the United States.
The Head of State also expressed gratitude to the United States for adopting a new package of sanctions against russia's energy and metallurgical sectors, financial sector, and military-industrial complex. Zelenskyy emphasized that the pressure of sanctions on the aggressor country should only increase.
He also noted the new defense assistance package from the United States, including additional air defense systems needed to protect Ukrainian cities, communities and critical infrastructure.
During the conversation, the parties also agreed to continue close coordination of their further actions and cooperation between the two countries.
