European Council President Charles Michel personally informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU, UNN reports.
"I was glad to hear about the decision of the European Council to open negotiations personally from its President Michel. Charles, thank you for your leadership, for your efforts and faith in Ukraine!" Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
