The top 10 Ukrainian agricultural producers earned UAH 86.57 billion last year. This is 30% more than their earnings in 2022 and almost 1.5 times more than before the full-scale invasion.
46% of total revenue is attributable to four companies specializing in poultry farming.
Myronivska Poultry Farm, a part of MHP Group, is the top earner in terms of revenue, with its 2023 revenue up 1.5 times year-on-year. In total, the three companies of MHP Group earned UAH 34.32 billion, which is 40% of the total income of the leaders in the agricultural sector.
Lebedynsky Seed Plant is the second largest company in terms of revenue. Last year, this company increased its revenue by 17%. Its share in the total revenue of the top 10 is 18%.
Last year, the two companies of the Kernel Group earned UAH 14.71 billion, which is 27% more than in 2022. Their share in the total revenue of the top 10 was 17%.
After a year off, Zorya Podillya of Ukrprominvest Group returned to the top, increasing its revenue by 1.5 times. In total, the Agribusiness Leaders Index includes two companies of Ukrprominvest Group, which earned UAH 11.35 billion, accounting for 13% of the total revenue of the top 10.
The 2024 Index also includes two new companies - Dniprovskyi Poultry Complex and Zakhidnyi Buh. The earnings of these companies increased by one third and one quarter, respectively.
