Odessa region entered the top-5 regions of Ukraine by the number of accidents since the beginning of the year. In just two months in Odessa region recorded 181 accidents, reports UNN with reference to the platform Opendatabot.

According to the platform, on first place in anti-rating Dnipropetrovsk region (290 traffic accidents), on second - Lviv region (247), on third - Kiev (241 traffic accidents), on fourth - Kiev region (209). And closing the top five is the Odessa region.
There were a total of 2829 accidents on roads in the country during January-February. This is 6% less than during the same period before the start of the full-scale invasion.
Earlier UNN reported that in Odessa region in some parts of the road condition is critical. We are talking, in particular, about the road Razdelnaya-Starostino-Nadiya (Razdelnyansky district), about the road from Novopavlovka to Perekrestovo (Zakharivska OTG), about the approach to the village of Omarbia (Izmailsky district). These roads were last repaired during the Soviet era, according to local communities.
Heads of communities ask the regional administration to find an opportunity for repair, because the issue is also argued by safety and preservation of human life.
