Leaders of 26 EU member states agreed to provide Ukraine with 50 billion euros in aid for 4 years. This was reported by Suspilne from its own sources familiar with the discussion, UNN reports.

According to the interlocutors, Ukraine is promised to receive 1.5 billion euros per month next year. However, the funds will not be included in the budget, as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban vetoed the bill.
Sources explained that the EU is currently working on other ways to finance Ukraine to circumvent Hungary's veto.

Hungarian Prime Minister Balázs Orban's political adviser warned that the decision to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU is only the beginning.
According to him, the EU will need 70 more unanimous decisions for Ukraine to join the EU.
