London police have announced the detention of one of a local resident on suspicion of stealing a new painting by the famous British street artist Banksy. This is reported by Sky News, UNN reports.

Southwark council deputy leader Jasmine Ali said she condemns the the theft of the artwork and asked for a speedy recovery, adding "everyone should enjoy Banksy's brilliant work."
