In January-November of this year, more than 3.8 thousand criminal offenses were registered in Ukraine regarding evasion of conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period, and for military service by conscription of persons from among the reservists during a special period. More than 1.7 thousand people have been notified of suspicion. This was reported to UNN journalist in response to a request from the Prosecutor General's Office.

In January-November 2023, Ukraine registered 3,815 criminal proceedings under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - evasion of conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period, for military service by conscription of persons from among reservists during a special period.
A total of 6,345 offenses under Art. 336 of the Criminal Code were registered, of which 2,531 proceedings were closed and 1,647 were sent to court.

Most proceedings were registered in Zakarpattia region - 506, Mykolaiv region - 383, and Dnipro region - 348. Volyn and Kharkiv regions have 231 proceedings each. In Rivne region - 198, in Poltava region - 181.
The lowest number of registered proceedings for evasion from military service during mobilization was in Kherson region - 23, Zaporizhzhia region - 34, and Kyiv - 44. In Kyiv region - 61, in Lviv region - 224.
For comparison, in January-December 2022, 1,108 criminal offenses were registered in Ukraine for evading conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period, and for military service by conscription of persons from among the reservists during a special period.
A total of 2,431 proceedings were registered, of which 1,324 were closed and 446 were sent to court.
511 people were notified of suspicion of evading conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period, or for military service by conscription of persons from among the reservists during a special period.
The highest number of offenses was recorded in Zakarpattia region - 173, Lviv region - 173, and Dnipropetrovs'k region - 84.
