Police have identified the Russians who tortured four residents of the village of Zdvyzhivka, Kyiv region, during the occupation of the region in March 2022. On March 19, 2022, during the occupation of the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, the Russians came under artillery fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Under the the pretext of searching for artillery fire gunners, they captured four residents of the village of Zdvyzhivka
At the time of the arrest, two of the victims were on the territory of their their homes, while the others were walking home from their relatives. This became the reason for the arbitrary seizure, tying up and taking the victims to a barn on the the outskirts of the village. There, they were held for over a day in sub-zero temperatures and demanded to identify who was the gunner, imitating an execution, they demanded that they identify who was the gunner. Having received no answer, the invaders took one of the prisoners to a forest belt, where they beat him for half an hour for half an hour, kicking him and using rifle butts, then doused him with gasoline and first imitated burning him, and then fired machine guns over his head.
After that the victims were released on the grounds that the gunners had been found and killed by other Russian soldiers had found and killed the gunners.
As a result of investigative actions, the police identified the brigade, special units and individuals Russians who tortured the residents of Zdvyzhivka.
