In Odesa, bad weather prevented a child with suspected appendicitis from being taken to the hospital. Military and border guards spent four hours overcoming snowdrifts to search for the boy. According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, everything ended well - the child has already been operated on, UNN reports.
"A boy with suspected appendicitis got stuck in snow drifts. It took four hours for the military and border guards to reach him. The boy was taken to the hospital and operated on. They report that the child is in a stable condition, everything ended well", he said.

In Odesa region, a woman was trapped in snow when an ambulance was taking her to a maternity hospital. Fortunately, the rescuers managed to provide prompt assistance and the woman was taken to the hospitalwhere she gave birth to a daughter.
