Russian troops fired 15 times at night and in the morning of July 27 at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 60 explosions were recorded. This was reported by the Sumy RMA, according to UNN.

Yunakivska, Miropilska, Krasnopilska, Bilopilska, Vorozhbianska and Velykopysarivska communities were subjected to hostile attacks.
- Yunakivska community: shelling with the use of FPV drones (6 explosions) and artillery shelling (23 explosions) were carried out from the territory of Russia.
- Bilopil community: Russians dropped 12 mines on the territory of the community.
- Myropilska community: the enemy fired from artillery (5 explosions).
- Velykopysarivska community: there was a shelling (4 explosions).
- Vorozhbianska community: a munition was launched from an Orion reconnaissance and strike UAV (1 explosion).
- Krasnopilska community: shelling with the use of FPV drones (3 explosions) and artillery shelling (6 explosions) were recorded.
