In Lviv region, law enforcement officers exposed a company that systematically evaded customs duties. According to the BES detectives, the state budget did not receive more than UAH 7.5 million in customs payments. This was reported by the Bureau of Economic Security, UNN reports.
It was established that the company, when importing foreign goods, submitted documents to the State Customs Service of Ukraine on the importation of used clothing weighing more than 16 tons into the customs territory of Ukraine. However, it failed to provide information on approximately 34 thousand new items. As a result, the state budget lost more than UAH 7.5 million in customs payments.

Currently, detectives of the DECC in Lviv region are conducting an inspection at one of the checkpoints of the Lviv Customs. They have already seized and arrested 34 thousand pieces of new clothes and shoes.
