Another temperature record was set in Kyiv - the heat wave on July 17 reached the highest figure for that day in the history of observations, UNN reports, citing data from the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory.

According to the institution's meteorological station, on July 17, the maximum air temperature in Kyiv was the highest on record for that date and amounted to 35.6°C.

Reportedly, this value exceeded the previous record high in 2016 by 0.2°C.
