In Kiev and the Kiev region, searches are being conducted to stop the activities of a criminal group that "parasitized" ordinary railway workers, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Wednesday. They also warned about possible time restrictions for passengers, reports UNN.
According to the plan agreed by Ukrzaliznytsia and the National Police, legal proceedings are continuing in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Their goal is to stop the activities of an organized criminal group that "parasitized" ordinary railway workers
it is reported that searches and seizures of physical evidence, interviews and detentions are carried out.
Ukrzaliznytsia also asked to apologize to passengers for possible inconveniences (access restrictions, additional checks or traffic delays). They stated that they are doing everything possible to minimize them.
"All the circumstances of this operation will be reported later jointly by the National Police of Ukraine and Ukrzaliznytsia," the UZ added.
