On July 24, at around 21:00, police received a report of a shooting on Naberezhna Peremohy Street in the city of Dnipro. Law enforcement officers found out that a 25-year-old BMW driver and a motorcycle driver had had a conflict on the roadway, which resulted in the 30-year-old victim being injured.

At the scene, law enforcement officers seized a pistol and spent shell casings. The driver of the car was detained.
On July 25, investigators of the Dniprovskyi District Police Department served the man a notice of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
