The enemy's actions in the occupation are aimed at erasing the identity of Ukrainian children. This was written by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, responding to information that the occupiers are forcing students to make trench candles for the russian army, UNN reports.
Details
He recalled that the occupiers in the TOT told the heads of the colleges that all students should make trench candles. At the same time, russian propaganda presents this as a public initiative, but the "initiative" is credited with a grade.
Lubinets noted that this is just one of the measures used by the occupiers against students and children in the TOT. The so-called "military-patriotic movements" play a significant role in russian propaganda, such as the "youth army". There are also widespread "cadet classes" where children are re-educated, indoctrinated with hostile narratives and prepared for war against their homeland.
All the enemy's actions are aimed at erasing the identity of Ukrainian children. And the international community must respond to such actions of the russian federation. After all, this is a violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions. Those responsible for the abduction and re-education of Ukrainian children must be punished!
Recall
In the occupied territories of Ukraine, russian representatives force students to make trench candles "according to the plan" - forced production is counted as a credit, and truancy is the basis for calling parents to the school.
