The Cabinet of Ministers has redistributed UAH 1.7 billion allocated to the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development for 2024, allocating the funds for the development and maintenance of roads. This was reported by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, according to UNN.

“Within the total amount of budget allocations provided for the State Agency for Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development for 2024 in the general fund of the state budget, the redistribution of state budget expenditures was made by reducing the amount of expenditures under the program “Fulfillment of debt obligations on loans raised by the state or under state guarantees for the development of the public road network” by UAH 1.7 billion,” Melnychuk said in a statement.
According to him, this amount will be used for development expenditures under the program “Development of the network and maintenance of public roads of national importance.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the procedure for the use of the general fund of the state budget for the development of the network and maintenance of public roads of national importance in 2024.
