G7 responds to DPRK's ballistic missile launch: "Group of Seven" diplomats call for united international response

The G7 Foreign Ministers condemn North Korea's recent missile launch and call for a strong global response, including action by the UN Security Council, and demand the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

The top diplomats of the of the Group of Seven (G7) countries said they strongly condemned North Korea's North Korea's ballistic missile launch on November 21, 2023, as this action poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the region. North Korea's reckless actions must be met with a swift, united and firm international response, including by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). We call on the members of the UN Security Council to fulfill their obligations and urge all UN member states to fully and effectively implement the relevant UN Security Council resolutions
